Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: August 2026

What are affiliate links?

Some links on Wishing Well — particularly links to products on external retailers — are affiliate links. This means that if you click one of those links and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you.

How does this work?

When you click an affiliate link, your browser is redirected through a tracking URL that associates the click with our account. If you complete a purchase during that session, the retailer pays us a referral fee. The price you pay is identical to what you would pay if you navigated to the product directly.

Which links are affiliate links?

Affiliate links may appear when you follow a product URL stored in a gift idea or wishlist item, or when Wishing Well surfaces product suggestions. We currently participate in affiliate programs including the Amazon Associates program and similar programs offered by other major retailers.

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Does this affect our recommendations?

No. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products or retailers we surface, how we rank suggestions, or any other editorial decision within the app. We display product links because you or someone in your network saved them — not because of any commercial relationship with the retailer.

FTC disclosure

This disclosure applies site-wide and satisfies our legal obligation to inform you of this potential material connection.
