Wishing Well is a gift planning and event tracking application. It allows you to manage contacts, track important dates and events (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays), save and organize gift ideas, create wishlists, and receive reminders for upcoming occasions. The service is provided free of charge.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@wishingwell.app.
Wishing Well is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Wishing Well, including your contacts, events, gift ideas, and wishlists. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You can export all your data as JSON at any time from Settings > Privacy & Security, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Wishing Well is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime, but are not obligated to do so.
By you: You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Privacy & Security. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data, including contacts, events, gift ideas, wishlists, and notifications. This action is irreversible.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or are used for unauthorized purposes. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless immediate action is required.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wishing Well and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (which is zero for the free tier).
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at any particular time.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may delete your account.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
